We are transforming invasive sargassum into a natural fiber called Bloom, a sustainable raw material for the global textile market. Harvested at sea off the coast of Belize and refined to a written specification, Bloom gives apparel, home decor and luxury packaging a regenerative, biodegradable source, and gives coastal communities a reason to welcome the tide.
FROM THE WATER TO THE BAG
Every batch begins at sea.
Our captains harvest sargassum while it is still afloat, where the material is clean and light. Nothing we sell has touched the beach.
At the facility, our processors wash away the salt, sand and metals the ocean leaves behind, then dry and refine the harvest into a clean, dry fiber. We record every step, so each bag traces to the day its sargassum left the water. The result is a fiber you can plan around: the same color, texture and chemistry from one order to the next.
THE CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS
We show you what is in the bag before you open it.
An independent laboratory tests every batch. The Certificate of Analysis arrives with your order, and we provide it on request before you buy.
The certificate reports the nutrients that give Bloom its value and the heavy metals that sargassum draws from seawater, measured against the limits major markets apply to natural materials. Textile makers learn exactly what enters their line. Manufacturers receive the documentation their quality systems require. Innovators begin with a known fiber rather than a question.
